We serve researchers in both Arabic and English
About me
My inspiration stems from a 20+ year journey spanning university lecture halls, design studios, international film festivals, and the pages of academic books I’ve authored. I witnessed brilliant Arab researchers and creatives struggle - not for lack of ideas - but due to weak methodology, poor academic structuring, or the absence of a bridge between deep content and powerful presentation. As a university professor who taught in Baghdad, Muscat, Hebron, and Luxembourg, I felt a profound ethical responsibility to channel this accumulated expertise into empowering the next generation of academic researchers.
My Long-term vision
To make Nezar Academy the leading academic and creative hub in the Arab world, where research is judged not only by its depth, but by its structure, narrative, and visual clarity. Where academic rigor meets creative storytelling.
Strategic Goals
1. Empower 1,000 Arab researchers within 5 years through courses, mentorship, and academic editing.
2. Build a premium Arabic-language digital platform offering high-quality academic content on research methodology and visual storytelling.
3. Launch a peer-reviewed academic journal focused on design, film, and creativity in the humanities.
4. Establish an annual “Creative Research Festival” that brings together academics and artists to present research through innovative visual and narrative formats.
5. Publish my upcoming academic books, along with those authored by other researchers affiliated with the Academy, as accredited curricula in Arab and European universities.
How I Benefit My Students
I engineer intellectual transformation by fusing four rare, complementary pillars of expertise:
- My PhD Research: “Culture & Graphic Design in Managing Political Crises”
- 20+ Years in Professional Graphic Design & Visual Storytelling: I designed national symbols (Iraqi Parliament, Constitution, Integrity Commission), so I understand how visuals carry political weight and cultural meaning, a unique lens for Humanities researchers.
- Diploma in Leadership & Crisis Management (European Institute of Leadership & Management, 2021): I don’t just edit, I mentor under pressure.
- University Teaching Across 3 Continents (Baghdad, Muscat, Hebron, Luxembourg - since 2004): I’ve taught in war zones, oil-rich sultanates, occupied territories, and European capitals, so I adapt to any learner’s context.
Core Values
- Academic Integrity Above All: “We don’t write for you, we teach you how to write powerfully, ethically, and independently.”
- Interdisciplinary Innovation: “Break the boxes. Connect the dots. Culture + Design + Crisis + Research = Revolutionary Insight.”
- Visual & Narrative Excellence: “If your research is brilliant but buried in chaos, it’s invisible. We make it seen, felt, and remembered.”
- Resilience Through Crisis-Informed Mentorship: “You’re not failing, you’re in crisis. And I’ve spent a lifetime turning crises into clarity.”
- Cultural Grounding & Global Relevance: “Your research must speak your truth, in a language the world understands.”
Every student receives a personalized roadmap, not a template. Every edit includes pedagogical notes, so you learn as you revise. Every slide deck is designed for emotional + intellectual impact. Every crisis is met with empathy + strategy, not judgment. Every interaction reinforces your agency; you are the author, the expert, the leader of your research.
Ideal Students & Clients
Our ideal student or client:
- Are you writing a Master’s thesis, PhD dissertation, academic promotion file, or scientific article in the Humanities or Social Sciences (like Cultural Studies, Media, Art, History, Political Communication, Education, or Psychology, etc.)?
- Feel stuck, overwhelmed, or confused by academic structure, even though your ideas are strong?
- Need help turning your deep cultural insights into research that Western journals, committees, or grant panels will understand and respect, without losing your voice?
- Want your thesis or presentation to look and feel professional, not just in words, but in design, flow, and storytelling? (Yes, even academic work can be beautiful and powerful!)
- Are you juggling family, teaching, or a full-time job, and need a mentor who gets your pressure, not just an editor who fixes commas?
- Believe your research should change something, whether it’s policy, perception, or how people see your culture.
Welcome home, scholar. You’re exactly who we built this Academy for.
